The weight overload limiter will give you warning when the weight reaches 90% of the rated weight and the power of the crane will be cut off.
Introduction
The QCX Weight Overload Limiter is a safety device used on cranes to prevent the crane from carrying more weight than its designed load capacity during operation. This device ensures the safety of lifting operations and prevents damage or accidents to the crane due to overloading.
QCX weight overload limiter consists of the sensor, computing amplifier, controlling actuator and load editor etc. And it is equipped display, controller and alarm at a suit. When the crane lift articles, the sensor deformation makes load weight transform into electric signal which is amplified through computing, and then calculate the loading weight. When loading weight reaches 90% of rated weight, warning signal is emitted; when load exceeds the rated, power source is cut off.
QCX limiter takes force from lifting mechanism of the crane, feedbacks to the instrument, collect, contrast, read and judge, and then displays current weight and indicates the corresponding condition. When the load exceeds the rated weight, lifting circuit of crane hook will be cut off immediately to make the crane not lift, in order to protect crane and operator from being injured. QCX limiter is widely applied into types of bridge cranes and lifts.
