30 Ton Overhead Crane Sold to Qatar

The 30 ton double girder overhead traveling crane is a type of heavy lifting equipment designed to efficiently and safely move large loads within steel mills. Recently, Yuantai designed and supplied a double-girder European bridge crane for a steel factory in Qatar.

Project Overview:
A steel mill in Qatar needed a new 30 tonne double girder European overhead traveling crane to replace an aging crane that was no longer reliable. The new crane will be installed in a large workshop area housing various steel fabrication equipment and fabrication processes. The plant had specific requirements for the cranes, including the ability to lift and move large coils and plates safely and efficiently.


Design and Engineering:
The design and engineering of the new top row bridge crane is carried out by Yuantai's experienced team of engineers and technicians. Considering the layout of the customer's workshop, the type of load being lifted, and the safety requirements of the plant, we recommend European standard double girder overhead cranes to meet the specific needs of the Qatar steel mill.
This 30-ton European-style bridge crane is equipped with two parallel girders that support the trolley and hoisting mechanism, allowing the load to move steadily and smoothly. The crane is also designed with a variable speed control system, which can precisely control the movement of the load.
The cranes are designed to the highest safety standards with features such as limit switches, overload protection and emergency stop buttons. The crane will also be equipped with a control panel for easy operation by the crane operator.
